Burton Center Poker Run
The poker run is 45 to 50 miles of off-road fun! Off-road vehicles of all types are required and welcome. With your vehicle registration you will receive 1 vehicle entry, 2 lunches, 1 face shield, and 1 poker hand. Additional lunches can be purchased for $5-$7. Additional face shields can be purchased for $10. The series debuted on Lifetime on February 5, 1990, ran until May 4, 1990, and was hosted by comedian Louise DuArt, with Burton Richardson as announcer. Jay Wolpert created and produced the show. GREENWOOD, S.C. – “If you love to ride your motorcycle, in your car or truck and want to help people with disabilities, then Saturday, June 1 is a day you won’t want to miss. We are excited about this year’s poker run. We have a great ride lined up,” stated Debbie Davis, Run Coordinator.

The run will begin at Burton Center, 2605 Hwy 72/221 E, Greenwood, and end at the American Legion, 1310 Cambridge Avenue E, Greenwood. The NiteKrawlerz Band will be providing entertainment from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. BBQ will be provided.
The purpose of the run is to raise funding to purchase wheelchairs and accessible equipment for Burton Center consumers – “Wheels for Wheels”

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Last bike in at American Legion at 3:00 p.m. Registration fee is $20, second hand $10 and one extra card $2.
